German Oven Pancakes, Jaden style

When I started food blogging I didn't realize that I would have a new set of online friends to interact and share my love of food with. Although the authors of the food blogs may or may not know that I come there, I certainly do and sometimes even try out their recipes. For example, Indira's Mango Jam and Afghan Okra Stew are prepared multiple times in our house. Saffron Hut's Chip N Chaat was a huge hit at a potluck as was the coconut burfi, Archana (Spiyana)'s Stuffed Eggplant was to die for and just today I tried out Cynthia's Coconut Drops and it was delish. I am wondering how can I justify buying cookbooks with all you fabulous folks around? Well, I can because its part of my bed time read but anyway, I digress! Today and last Wednesday, I ended up making Jaden's German Oven Pancakes and I think it too will become part of our weekend tradition. I followed Jaden's recipe to the T but did add 3 drops of Vanilla Essence to the batter and served the pancake up with Maple syrup soaked organic peaches. It was to die for. If only I wasn't trying to lose weight, I think I could eat these pancakes all day, every day!

Thank you food bloggers for sharing your recipes, energy and hard work online. I leave you with some pictures of the fab pancake.

Ok, this picture proves I need to clean my oven window. The pancake is happily puffing up in the oven.
Pancake all done and out of the oven.
Pancakes served with Peaches in Maple Syrup. So YUMM!
PS-my pictures don't do justice like Jaden's does but all of us thought it tasted fabulous.
PS- aren't Jaden's boys just the cutest?
